Returning To The Scene

On Saturday Derek's high school hockey team had their pre-seeding tournament. It was the first time Derek has been back to the place where he broke his ankle last fall. Thankfully, this time there were no injuries.

Flag Football

Adam's flag football league started this past weekend

Lulu's Squirrel

Lulu found a squirrel in the yard. I think it must have been dead already because I've never seen her catch one before.

She had fun with it for a while in the yard, but we drew the line when she wanted to bring it inside

Adam's Boo Boos

Adam was skating around the park with his friend and fell. He sprained his hand and had some pretty good road rash all over his body.

Adam's Morning Routine

Adam doesn't start school until 9:20 so he has time in the morning to do all kinds of productive things. But mostly he just wants to cuddle Lulu.

Adam's Euphonium

Adam joined the band this year and, for reasons he can't really articulate, chose to play Euphonium

It's a big instrument for a small kid. Helen was coming home last week and saw Adam walking home from school with his friends as he struggled to carry his new Euphonium. Adam said it wasn't too bad because his friends offered to help by switching instruments with him when he got tired. One friend had a saxophone and the other had a trumpet.
