This was the makeup date for the test that got canceled the night before because of the snow scare several weeks ago.

 

Back home in the afternoon. He doesn't look too worse for the wear.

 

 

GHP and Robotics

The interview was over an hour away. Helen got more and more worried about Derek making the long trip by himself. By the morning of the interview Helen had decided she would go with Derek, but Derek assured her that he preferred to go alone.

 

 

 

 

 

After his GHP interview, Derek had another hour drive to his state robotics competition

 

We got a text from him saying he stopped for lunch at The Varsity on his way through downtown
