Derek's Walking Cast Removed

Adam was designated crutch carrier. Derek wasn't so sure he would be able to walk without support.

The kids were entertained when I got pulled over by a cop for making a left turn onto the street where the doctor's office is located. I was determined not to miss that left turn like had on every other visit and never noticed the "no left turn" sign on the right hand side of the road. The cop pointed out that there had been a lot of accidents from people making that turn. Luckily he gave me a warning. That makes 4 warnings in my life and still...no tickets.

Left leg is much more hairy

Derek was very uneasy about putting weight on his healed ankle, but the doctor insisted that he didn't want Derek using the crutches

Derek started physical therapy later that day and will do a couple sessions a week for a month or so
