On our most recent vacation we realized that Adam was having difficulty reading a sign, so when we got home we made an appointment to have Adam's vision checked.
Adam was not very helpful, in the first place, about letting us know he was having trouble and he hasn't been very helpful letting us know that the new glasses make a difference.
I read that kids have an amazing capacity to adapt when it comes to living with vision deficiency. There are some online tools that allow you to plug in a vision prescription and get an idea of what a person can see with that prescription. People were commenting that they plugged their kid's prescription in and couldn't believe how bad their kid's vision was and yet the kid never complained they were having any trouble. |
