What's Going On

What's going on: It's been really cold with no end in sight and we're tired of it. We're trying to get back in shape after letting the pendulum swing a little too far the wrong way during the holidays. The boys are busy with school again. They seemed to enjoy their first semester of high school and middle school, respectively, and both finished with straight A's. They're playing a lot of hockey with all the practices and games. I'm coaching their youth hockey teams and they're also playing for their school teams. I'm playing in an adult hockey league and an adult basketball league. Helen is back at school and busy, but she has a much better group of kids this semester. It's amazing what a difference it makes in her life (and mine) when she has nice well behaved kids instead of a bunch of thugs.

Derek had youth games Friday night and Saturday afternoon. The Friday 9 pm game was brutally cold. He had a high school game on Saturday and two more high school games on Sunday at 11 and 4 in Alpharetta.

Adam had a youth game Saturday afternoon and a middle school game on Sunday at 2 in McDonough - over an hour away from Derek's games in Alpharetta
