No Rest For The Weary

Derek is swamped with end of year exams and projects and the school's already loading him up for next year

Derek was nominated for the Governors Honors Program for next year in 3 subjects (Science, Math, and Social Studies) . You can only pursue one subject area, so Derek said he plans on trying again in Social Studies since he made it to the final state level round this year and he hopes that will help his chances next year.

Derek's schedule for next year

Derek has taken a number of AP courses already and plans on doing a couple more before he graduates, but he decided to pursue an IB Diploma so most of his classes will be IB instead of AP.
