As usual, the boys were more interested in doing their own thing this holiday break. Adam occasionally picks a movie to watch with us and got us started on Stranger Things. Over the past few years he's made an effort to find a series we can all watch (Walking Dead, Revolution, Westworld, Big Little Lies, Game of Thrones, etc). Mostly he just wants to game with his friends, consume gobs of online content of his choosing, and sleep. He, basically, wants to be in full control of the clicker of his life...and I can't blame him...so do I.
Helen and I are getting more comfortable setting our own agenda without making much effort to include the boys. We used the extended holiday to get out and explore some local parks and public spaces we've been curious about. Lulu is also enjoying regular long walks through the forest and creeks and along the river in Simpsonwood Park.
