Finding out that dorm rooms are really small

Derek was feeling a little overwhelmed by it all and was ready for us to go
We were kind of hoping to spend some time with Derek soaking it all in and celebrating the accomplishment. There's so many neat things going on in his life, but more and more he seems to prefer going it alone rather than sharing with us. While we appreciate his self sufficiency, the limited visibility he offers us is really hard to take. There were many tears.

The food was ok, but the service was poor. The waitress was so sugary sweet that it was hard to be mad, but she was so bad.
