Heading out in the snow to find some dinner. Adam later said this was one of his favorite memories of the trip. The long day and some altitude sickness caught up with Derek so he stayed at the motel. Santa Fe is the highest capital city at 7200 feet. Most of our trip to Arizona a couple years ago had been so warm and only got cold when we finished at the Grand Canyon. Albuquerque is about the same latitude as the Grand Canyon so we started our trip this time about where we finished last time and then headed farther north. |
We tried to get into Pasqual's but it was packed |
We decided on the Blue Corn Café and were thankful to get out of the wet snow and into some place warm to fill our bellies |
Lots of green chile cheeseburgers and tortilla soups on our trip |
