Breakfast at our hotel in Santa Fe
After breakfast we walked a few blocks west to the Santa Fe Railyard
Santuario de Guadalupe
Describing the Rosary to Adam. There were a bunch of stone inlays inscribed with the rosary prayer names.
The El Camino Real is a historic 1600 mile trade route from Mexico
We continued our nice walk and Derek showed us where he ran the day before and then we headed back to our hotel
We took a nice drive across town to Museum Hill
Historic Santa Fe Trail
Randall Davey Audubon Center
Looking at all the galleries on Canyon Road
Heading back to our hotel
Nice walk to the Georgia O'Keefe Museum
Walking around Santa Fe Plaza
Cathedral Basilica of St Francis of Assisi
Loretto Chapel
Palace of the Governors circa 1610
We had hoped to have an early dinner at The Shed but they didn't open for another hour and then they were booked solid
We decided to walk back toward our hotel and eat at the Cowgirl Barbecue we had seen on our morning walk. I had read good things about it.
We blinked and Adam had downed this warm creamy bowl of chicken strips and mac and cheese. He had a big smile and said "it was really good".
"The Mother" green chile cheeseburger
Everything was great - ambiance, food, service and Derek was in a sharing mood so we had some good conversation
Our last night in Santa Fe before heading back home the next day on Thanksgiving
Shop with pretty stuff on the walk back to our hotel
