Kayaking Medlock Bridge To Garrard Landing

Loading the kayaks with Derek the night before

We were headed out of town to see my sister, Katie, in Montgomery for the weekend and decided to squeeze in an early morning kayak trip Friday before leaving for Montgomery in the afternoon.

I think they'll fit...

We put in at Medlock Bridge and took out at Garrard's Landing (about 6 miles)

Seeing if Lulu feels like a swim...nope

It was peaceful getting out early on the water. The float was pretty with several small sections of rapids to keep things interesting. The trip was a little longer than expected and we were tired, but we still had to get things cleaned up before getting ready to leave for Montgomery.
