Derek's Band Concert

Derek's school band had another warm up concert to practice for their upcoming competition at Troy University. Mr V, the band director, graduated from Troy and is pushing the band hard to perform well at his alma mater.

The county is replacing a sewer line that runs through our neighborhood. The neighborhood kids love all the activity and can't wait to inspect the work and climb on the equipment when the workers leave each day. 

Tennis and Lulu

Adam is playing tennis in a flex league where you have to schedule individual matches with your opponents. The parents usually do the coordinating for their kids, but I'm making Adam do the coordination. Helen responded to one of the emails because it was "just easier" and I had to "remind" her that Adam should be doing it.

Lulu likes to warm herself by the vent. I'm sure she likes when the boys are at school because it's hard for her to find a moment of peace when they're home. They're constantly searching her out and fighting over who gets to cuddle her.
