Last Thursday Adam had his 6th grade Spring Band Concert. They've come a long way since the Fall when they first started playing.

Driving To School

Derek started doing the driving when I take him to school each morning. He grips the wheel pretty tightly and says he's nervous, but he's doing great. He passed his first bicycle rider yesterday and said he didn't like that.

Beauty and the Beast

Derek's high school did Beauty and the Beast for their spring production

Derek went opening night (Thursday night) with some friends and said it was good. He went again with us on Sunday afternoon only because he was supposed to meet a friend, but the friend backed out at the last minute and Derek was stuck watching it again with us.

It was a really well done production and our neighbor, Spencer, was fantastic as Gaston

The morning after

Previous night about 10 pm: "We're going to bed. We're leaving about 9:15 in the morning so you should probably start shutting it down about 11."

The next morning about 8:15: "Good morning little princes. Breakfast is ready. We're leaving in an hour"

"Guys, we need to be leaving. Why isn't everyone in the car? Ryan are you sure you even brought your shoes? I think you were barefoot when you got here last night. Can you run home and see if you your shoes are there? Everyone else in the car. Let's go."
