Delta Calgary South Hotel

Recovering from our late night at the Stampede

Breakfast Time

Stampede decorations in the hotel lobby

Headed south towards the US border

Don't know what these yellow colored plants were, but they were stunning

Head-Smashed-In Buffalo Jump...what a great name

Beautiful visitor center built into the side of the hill

Buffalo carpet...buffalo are so cute

Neat storytelling experience with changing interactive display

The visitor center was really well done

The jump is a World Heritage Site

Bye Bye Head-Smashed-In...we really enjoyed it

Lots of wind turbines

Where The Mountains Meet The Prarie

Waterton Lakes National Park

Not real...don't get faked out like Helen

Red Rock Canyon

The town of Waterton

We had high hopes for the Welch's Chocolate Shop

It looked like the cute quaint kind of place we like, but the food wasn't that good. Also, the owner seemed kind of overbearing and the attitude of the staff reflected their displeasure. There are always hits and misses along the way.

Cameron Lake

Prince of Whales Hotel

What a beautiful place

Trying to make it across the border before 10

Who knew that border crossings close?

It was close, but we made it with a few minutes to spare

Lots of cows in the road

Made it to the eastern entrance of Glacier National Park and had to cross the twisting turning Going-to-the-Sun Road in the dark

Finally made it to our condo in Whitefish sometime around 1:30 am
