One of the girls pet sitting Lulu emailed us some illustrations she did of Lulu

We all laughed and agreed that she really captured Lulu and her expressions

Relaxing at the condo in Whitefish, Montana

We had a very late night the night before trying to get back to Whitefish from the east side of Glacier National Park. It's just not easy getting from one side of the park to the other. Instead of the twisty Going-to-the-Sun Road, we thought we would try going around the southern boundary of the park. We chose to go east to Browning to avoid Hwy 49, which we thought might be twisty also. Big mistake. The road to Browning was being worked on and we poked along unpaved gravel for miles. We didn't get back to Whitefish until after 2 am.

Love the Red Jammers roaming around the park

St Mary Visitor Center

Wow!

Highway 49

We had avoided Hwy 49 that skirts the east side of the park the previous night because we were unfamiliar with it and thought it might be too twisty at night. It turned out to be a beautiful fun road to drive - much better than driving to Browning.

Glacier Park Lodge

A neat cairn someone built in front of the lodge

This lodge is impressive. The timbers are huge and somehow naturally retain their bark.

Another walk around while we wait on our food

Strolling the gardens after dinner

The train station across the street where guests of the grand hotel would have arrived in years past
