Red Lion Hotel in Lewiston Idaho

Checking out the hotel grounds after breakfast

Jackson Baldwin Falls Children's Memorial

Bye Bye Lewiston

This area with it's high barren bluffs overlooking the river was really pretty

We would have liked to have seen Hells Canyon nearby, but didn't have the time.

Paper mill...it didn't smell pretty

Dayton Washington

All about Lewis and Clark

Lewis and Clark Trail Scenic Byway

Apple trees

Prosser Washington

We had planned to head south sooner along the Columbia River, but the GPS took us west to Prosser before we figured it out

First views of the Columbia River...it's really big

The area was unexpectedly barren looking and windy

Mount Hood in the distance

The Dalles Dam

Historic Columbia River Highway

Columbia Gorge Discovery Center

Momma, pack up the kids and the baby. We're putting the wagon on a raft and heading west on the Columbia River.

I can't even imagine what that was like

So windy

Hood River...windsurfing capital of the world

Rowena Crest

Hood River Bridge

We had such high hopes after the smoked salmon from Pike Place earlier in the trip, but this one wasn't so good

Hood River Fruit Loop

Hood River Lavender Farms

Bonneville Lock and Dam

Beacon Rock

Horsetail Falls

Multnomah Falls

Neat seeing the train whiz by above us. It was really loud.

Multnomah Falls Lodge

Sounds good

It was all really good. Definitely a hit.
