Repairing the washing machine
We're back into our routine after the New Year. Everyone's back to school and work and there's plenty of hockey practices and games. Despite all the rainy cold weather we've been having that makes you just want to hibernate, Helen and I are really focusing on healthy eating and getting fit...after the scale started tipping a little too far in the wrong direction.
Part of my daily routine includes starting a load of laundry each morning. A couple days ago the washing machine spin cycle quit working leaving a big a heavy wet load to deal with. It was a real pain. I was afraid we might have to finally replace our 20+ year old washer, but I researched the problem, watched a YouTube video, ordered a $17 motor coupling online, got the coupling the next day, and installed it last night. |
