Derek's Social Studies class had to pick a person from a list of famous Georgian's, research them, and give a presentation to the class as if they were that person. Derek picked Henry McNeal Turner because he thought "Henry McNeal" was the real name for "Ted" Turner. It turns out that Henry McNeal Turner is a black minister. Derek later realized his mistake and was going to ask the teacher to switch, but then he researched Henry McNeal and decided he could do it.
