| Derek said he just wanted a low key bowling party with a few friends. All organized by him - mostly through text messages. We joked all last week how birthdays have gotten a lot less complicated. No getting the list of kids and parent email addresses together for eVites, no scrambling to construct game stations or intricate cakes. Not even any presents. Next year he won't even need us to drive. |
