There was so much of this puffy white dandelion looking stuff floating in the air that it started to collect and cover the ground like snow

Our RV rental place offered complimentary dump service so we stopped by on the way out of Anchorage. What really happened is that we trained the helper because she had never done it before.

We stopped at Potter Marsh and there was a really nice couple that gave us a bunch of stuff because they were heading back to return their RV

This moose was hiding behind a bunch of bushes and away from the normal viewing area. We snaked behind the bushes to see if we could see anything else and got a real treat.

Helen loved Jack (aka Moosie). The whole place was a real treat. Why bother taking an 8 hour bus ride in Denali and hoping to see an animal through binoculars when you can see all kinds of animals up close and personal here.

We stopped at a couple of campgrounds but they were full. Kelley, Jason, and Laine intended to tent camp, but when we passed the Sunrise Inn which was a motel with an RV park, they decided they would rather stay in the motel rather than sleep outside in the wet chilly weather.

It worked out great. The RV turned out to be a really good decision. We all hung out, played games, and warmed ourselves with the salmon chowder Jason and Laine stayed up late preparing the night before.

Helen reading the instructions on how to light the propane stove. There were some missteps along the way but eventually we felt comfortable operating the RV.
