Alaska 2012: Day 2 of 22 (Vancouver)

I started off with hopes of staying on top of the blogging during the trip, but I only did the first day

All photos for this day

All photo albums

Breakfast at our hotel

The hotel had 4 bikes that they let guests use. The bikes were in use the day before so we had to rent our own for our ride around Stanley Park.

We headed for the bike paths around False Creek on our way to Granville Island

The architecture was a little strange at first but it really grows on you

Probably shouldn't have taken the route over the Granville Street bridge but it was an adventure

Electric car outlets

Really nice public market

Lots of buskers keep the place lively and fun

We took the easy way back by water taxi

The Japanese place where we ate the night before

Derek wanted some new earphones before the cruise

Always something happening on Granville Street where the area is blocked off to traffic

We still had some time to walk around before we had to be back at the hotel to meet the shuttle bus to the cruise terminal

Adam and Derek were intrigued by the fencing class that was going on

Gastown is a neat area of the city with lots of cute shops

There was a street market taking place in Chinatown

Dr Sun Yat-Sen Chinese Garden

Back to our hotel to catch the shuttle
