| Things were a little hectic with the weather and everyone trying to find shuttles to their shore excursions. I booked our excursion direct and needed to call for our pickup location. Unfortunately my phone was not working. We later found out that Verizon doesn't allow outgoing calls from prepaid phones in Alaska. We could text and receive calls, but Verizon blocked outgoing calls. When we got back to the ship I couldn't find my phone. I probably put it in my jacket pocket which doesn't have a zipper and it fell out. It was a personal failure not to bring my jacket with a zipper pocket. It was only a few days into our trip and I had no phone. |
