Click "More options" on the map to expand it

Sandman hotel in Revelstoke

We finally get to use some of the hotel amenities

Denny's...it wasn't good

Packing up

Revelstoke Dam

Don't they know how to spell center in Canada?

We really enjoyed this place. It was well done.

The boys had fun building their own dam

We always enjoy it when they revert back to being kids instead of teenagers

There was a cute forestry museum nearby

Mount Revelstoke National Park

Really nice viewpoints of the town of Revelstoke below

Wildflowers lining the Meadows In The Sky Parkway

We got eaten alive by mosquitos on this hike. Maybe it's the standing water?

Snow

Passed some people working on the trail

We took the shuttle back down to the Meadows In The Sky parking area

We had hoped to escape the mosquitos, but they followed us into the shuttle.

Back down to Revelstoke

Nels Nelsen Hill

Evidently, Revelstoke was the world's ski jumping capital back in the day

Nels Nelsen hill hike definitely had some elevation gain

We saw this scary guy at the end of the hike

Skunk Cabbage Boardwalk

Avalanche shelter over the highway

Glacier National Park next door to Mount Revelstoke National Park

Rogers Pass

This area's all about finding a route through the mountains in order to connect eastern and western Canada

They have a nice visitor center

Golden

We loved to see the trains making their way through the beautiful surroundings

Radium Hot Springs

We turned a corner and there were all these Big Horn Sheep along the roadside

Wildside Pizza

We were so thankful for this place. It's pretty good, but more importantly...it stays open until midnight.

We finally made it to our condo in Panorama Mountain Resort
