View from our balcony at the Panorama Mountain Resort

We joked that we were going to sign the kids up for the PanoKids program

Ski resorts turn to mountain bike resorts in the summer

It was Canada Day so everyone was upbeat

Taking the chair lift down to the lower village

Going to see the horses

The guy in charge was so nice

He explained how he was from the Kamloops area a few hours west and that he was a miner in his regular job. He doesn't make any money on the horse thing, but he really enjoys it and the view is much better than below ground.

We learned the word "turbidity"

There were boil water advisories due to the turbidity (cloudiness) of the water

Derek always wanted to drive this windy stretch from the resort to Radium Hot Springs

Outdoor Stations of the Cross in Radium Hot Springs

Hmmm...the Paint Pots look a lot like Georgia red clay
